History
Alan Adler, inspired by the design of Indian battle throwing rings – the chakra, – created a flying ring of polycarbonate and rubber and called it Aerobie. Since then, the Californian company of the same name produces a wide range of flying rings, boomerangs and disks. “And where does the airpress?” It turns out that Alan Adler loves coffee no less than you and me. In 2004, Alan seriously thought about how to create a more simple to use coffee maker. Until then, he had been drinking coffee from an automatic drip coffee machine and had never been satisfied with the taste of the resulting drink. After experimenting with different methods and time of extraction and dosage, Alan in 2005 presented the world with an airpress that quickly gained recognition from the “advanced” coffee community.
Coffee brewing options
There are several cooking options with Aeroporess. We will not reread everything, you can get to know them, for example, by downloading the free application “Aeropress Timer”, available for iOS or Android users. The two main options are the classic method or inverted (inverted). Their differences are that the use of the inverted method of water does not leave the filter, but remains in the cylinder, which in many respects has the advantage, but the taste of the finished beverage, according to our observations, is not affected
